Castello Banfi - L' Enoteca, Montalcino

You cannot stay or visit Montalcino without going to Banfi. You should visit the glass museum first and then L’Enoteca. You will be amazed by the variety of wines and the other products - from pasta, honey, dried plums (the best), olive oil, to glasses, decanters, wine accessories and even bags, keyholders, card holders. After enjoying seeing all of the products you can either have a tasting at the high table if you only want to taste the wine only or have a seat at one of the tables (inside/outside) in order to have wine tastings plus light snacks. And don’t think that the prices are high. The prices are more than fair - Sparkling wine 6-7€/ bottle, dried plums 4€, Brunello di Montalcino 33€. Go there!

Being this wine shop on the way back home, we decided to stop to buy both the wine and the sparkling wine consumed in Abbadia San Salvatore at the Relais San Lorenzo on the occasion of the New Year's Eve dinner, we were really very satisfied with the wide choice of wines, BRAVIIIIIIIIII
