Create an itinerary including Villa Necchi Campiglio
One of Milan's museum houses, Villa Necchi Campiglio offers a glimpse into villa architecture in interwar Italy. Designed by Italian architect Piero Portaluppi, this was created as a single-family home with opulent grounds, rather than a palace or mansion. Over the years, it was home to Milanese elite and European royalty. As you wander from one richly decorated room to another, admire paintings and other artwork from the 18th through the 20th centuries. Plan your visit to Villa Necchi Campiglio and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Milan online day trip planner.

  • MUST VISIT, even if you are not an architect or into interior design. A fantastic place with the friendliest and kindest staff I have ever encountered. A big plus is that the audio guide is included.....  more

  • I was hesitant about going because frankly the concept didn't seem too interesting to me. But I greatly enjoyed myself, and really liked learning about the history of the villa, largely because of the engaged and super friendly staff who are around it and eager to share its secrets and history with you. Strongly recommend. The restaurant next door is also fantastic for lunch!
  • From architecture point of view is the first villa in Milan with swims g pool and tennis court . is one of the three museum houses in Milan . is an absolutely must see. There is a shop where you can buy specific Milanese design small things.
