Having read the other reviews on here, we booked ahead on the website, choosing a time that seemed quieter, which it was. We went up at 2.30 pm on a Sunday afternoon, there were no queues outside...

Great view but wonder if 25 euro is worth it. Takes so long to take two separate gondola up to the top of the mountain. On the way down, the gondola I got on started malfunctioning and almost missed my ferry! It was a scary moment. It took 20 mins extra to fix the issue. Also, we bought tickets on line a day before as Google map’s review warned us. But, our plan changed and could not make it on the day of the tickets. I tried to reschedule our trip or get a refund…but they would not accept it. Do not buy the tickets till you are very sure about your plan. Also, you can easily buy a ticket when you get there.

This was one of the highlights of our stop over in Italy. It was €25 per person for return, but so worth it. Incredible views, gondola on every hour, and every half. ( eg 11,11:30, 12, 12:30 etc) The views at the top were incredible and all the staff were friendly and welcoming
