Do not miss! The particularity of this church consists in its typical structures of the Itria Valley: the barrel vault and the cone of the trullo only visible from the inside. The vault represents the musical angels swimming in the azure. On the lower register, scenes from the life of St Nicolas. You will be able to see the miraculous column going from Myra to Bari, preceded by the relics of the Saint, floating on the sea. This red column is preserved in the pontifical basilica of St Nicolas in Bari The frescoes of the dome represent God the father blessing the cherubs and the evangelists represented in the angles. A curiosity in this church deserves a little attention: The nativity scene with the specific roofs of the village of Locorotondo
