Experience a piece of history at Teatro Romano, the remains of a first-century amphitheater. Today, just seven of the original 60 arches remain in this structure that once held 20,000 people. There is also a surrounding wall of which only part remains, which stands 22 m (72 ft) tall. A walkway will help you easily navigate the area, and informational brochures are available nearby. Special events, such as light shows, are sometimes hosted here. Plan to see Teatro Romano and other attractions that appeal to you using our Aosta trip itinerary builder site.

Part of the combined ticket, this archeological site main feature is a partial high facade still standing. A map of the theatre explains the lay-out, but it would have been helpful if they created a tower with a viewing platform, to fully oversee the ruins. Now you are so up close, that it is difficult to appreciate the site fully.
