  • A very welcoming quick, cheap tour. Not a great deal to do in Amalfi but I’d give this a go. You have the opportunity to get hands on and use the tools that made paper from 1000AD. The machines still....  more

  • Everyday I try to learn something new, but today's tour of the museum is in the top 10 of all time for me. Found this place wondering the streets of Almafi Coast and will forever be grateful for this trip! I thought I knew the origin of paper..... I did not BUT I do now! Awesome guide who answered every question with a smile.... and there were many! 😃 Hands down the best value of anything we did this week I will remember today the rest if my life. History is so amazing 👏🏾
  • I can't say that I was excited to visit a paper museum but I was pleasantly surprised and found it quite engaging. The historic papermill was carved into the rocks which created a cool grotto experience. The evolution of paper making over the centuries was described and exhibited using the actual restored tools and machinery. They harvested creek energy and used water wheels to power the machinery, which was innovative for the time and environmentally sustainable even by today's standards. A must see when visiting Amalfi.
