Admire the foaming water and lush green surroundings at Tegenungan Waterfall, where a broad sheet of water plummets into a wide pool, ideal for taking a dip. Swim under the fall for a powerful massage, or climb onto the wide ledge halfway up the cliff face for a close-up view. • This was an addition to our tour and maybe worth checking out. About 200 steps to get down (and then back up) to the waterfall. You can swim and get photos but expect a lot of people around too.

  • Breathtaking scenery and worth the visit. Descend down 150 stairs to get to the bottom of the waterfall. It's worth going up the other side to get closer to the top, there is a small cost. Walking back up the stairs could be difficult for some so pace yourself. Definitely take water as there isn't as much tree over as you'd think and it get very hot! There is some great little stores with beautiful silk dresses and robes. Highly recommended checking out this beautiful piece of the world.
  • Unfortunately I have had to witness the slow demise of this once beautiful piece of Balinese nature. Was amazed upon my first visit in 2015, busier tourist attraction in 2019 and now has a resort built on top of it. The only positive I can think of is the jobs created for the locals in the area, other than that, completely ruined. Sorry to see it go this way and wish the local government would’ve done more to preserve the area. Very sad :(
