Create an itinerary including Birla Mandir
Visit the majestic marble temple of Birla Mandir, one of the many eponymous temples built by the Birla family all over India. Constructed in 1976, the temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara, an incarnation of Vishnu. Admire the imposing building, supposedly made out of 2,000 tons of pure white marble, and view the idols of many deities, including a 3 m (11 ft) tall image of Venkateshwara. Climb up to the hilltop temple to enjoy panoramic views of Hyderabad and its surroundings. Make Birla Mandir a centerpiece of your Hyderabad vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Hyderabad road trip tool.

  • Very beautiful temple on a hillock. Avoid going around noon time, as the marble gets really hot under the sun. Worth a visit if you have good enough time in your itinerary.

  • This temple is beyond our imagination. You are not allowed to take phone there and any kind of other photography devices. Sanitation is too good. You can see approximately every corner of the city from here. Located at top of the city and totally hygienic. Best place for worship.
  • One the best temples to visit in Hyderabad which offers a calm and peaceful environment. There is enough crowd almost always, but the location still manages to provide you a gentle breeze to create a serene atmosphere. Avoid visiting in afternoons as the floor would be very hot (especially in summers). Parking will be a pain point as the capacity is not very high.
