  • We hiked San Pedro Volcan on 30/09/22. We felt extremely safe, although very tired by the end of it! No problems since Jan 2022 according to everyone we asked. There's a group of police officers...

  • Very easy to do. If you get to the volcano before 6am the ticket office is closed and you get in for free. The volcano is safe. Policemen are on 2300, as well as on 3000 meters. There is no need for a Guid.
  • 100Q per person to enter, the climb is steep and sweaty but so worth it!!! We started around 7am, to get to the top before the clouds start to gather. For us, two well trained people (girl and boy) took us 2h 10min up, we kept a high pace. 2h down. Since an robbery and attack with machete on tourists (in beginning of 2022) there are policemen about 1h in the trail. They offer company and security for the rest of the journey to the top. We did not take (we walked alone) it but I think the price was 50-150Q. Since the police has been stationed there it has not been any robbery.
