  • The cooking class was really fun and interesting. Learned to make tortilla's too! There was someone to translate from Spanish to English, so everybody would understand. There was a cozy and family atmosphere. The food was delicious. Highly recomended!
  • I had a really wonderful experience! They modified a traditional Guatemalan recipe for me because I'm vegetarian. They answered all my questions, plus I got some great recommendations for where to try other traditional foods in Antigua. My instructor Sonia was so sweet and helpful and caring and helped me practice my Spanish, to boot (and they had a translator there, too). The food was really yummy and the class was so well thought-out, from everything being timed perfectly to letting me taste for salt (such a good idea bc people's palates can vary so much!). You get a great meal out of it and I took some left-overs back to my hostel, as well. Great experience. They also offer wine, which I didn't want any of (and they game me some other non-alcoholic drinks). I definitely think it's a great value and would recommend and do again!
