  • I had a great time, Staff was nice and accommodating. Unlimted wine was a plus. I really enjoyed the meal we prepared. Definitely, something I will attempt to make back home in Texas. Especially...

  • I had a really wonderful experience! They modified a traditional Guatemalan recipe for me because I'm vegetarian. They answered all my questions, plus I got some great recommendations for where to try other traditional foods in Antigua. My instructor Sonia was so sweet and helpful and caring and helped me practice my Spanish, to boot (and they had a translator there, too). The food was really yummy and the class was so well thought-out, from everything being timed perfectly to letting me taste for salt (such a good idea bc people's palates can vary so much!). You get a great meal out of it and I took some left-overs back to my hostel, as well. Great experience. They also offer wine, which I didn't want any of (and they game me some other non-alcoholic drinks). I definitely think it's a great value and would recommend and do again!
  • The class was interesting and was about my speed for a cooking class. The instructor told us a high level overview of what she was doing and would keep us busy chopping and stirring things. We also got to taste quite a bit of the foods. The translator was helpful in ensuring we understood in English. My friend who joined me is a much more experienced chef tho and she was disappointed that some steps were done while we were eating or doing other things and she wished that we had been involved in some of the more intricate details of the food. Recipes were provided at the end.
