Arco de Santa Catalina
An iconic landmark, Arco de Santa Catalina represents the only portion of the once-flourishing Convent of St. Catherine that's left standing. Built in 1694, the arch spans a street and was used by nuns to cross from one building to another without being seen on the street. The bright yellow structure boasts a rich history and has become a symbol of the city. The clock tower was added in the 1830s. Highlight. Your likely to walk under it many times. The colour in the sunlight is lovely. Take a photograph and enjoy! You can't miss it walking around.

Of course this iconic place is a must go / must see. 5he architecture and history is something you can not miss out on in Antigua. Just passed the arch, there's a arts and crafts shop to the right which is a must see and toward the cathedral to the back, there are lots of food vendors and delicacies along side arts and crafts vendors that sell many great things as well as delicious foods, sweets and drinks. Perfect for families and tourists in search for that authentic perfect touch and flavors.

Stunning, peaceful ambiance on a cobble stone street with amazing boutiques, restaurants, and shops within a 100 meters walk. 74F/23C and moderately humid, the weather is perfect. Although it is a tourist destination it was not overcrowded with tourists. Antigua feels different than anywhere else in Central America. Worth a repeat trip!!
