This place was so incredible - authentic buildings that were placed here for preservation. Just the history alone makes it worth it, but the beauty of the museum farm is absolutely exquisite. The day I was there, it was incredibly green. I loved walking from one historic farm building to the next and seeing how people lived and worked hundreds of years ago. This place is definitely a must see!

We visited as part of our Family German Road Trip and the place was charming. The exhibits are fascinating, with different time periods for various additions and growth of the original farm. If you’ve been to Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia, US, it has a similar vibe with “history come to life”. The playground is exceptionally large for kids, bathrooms clean and food kiosk with tasty options. Well worth a 1/2 day visit.
