The resting place of St. Nino, Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino houses many of her relics and currently functions as a nunnery. A popular destination for pilgrims, the monastery was originally built in the 9th century and has been extensively remodeled and rebuilt several times. Climb the hill up to the monastery to visit St. Nino's tomb. Other points of interest are the well-kept gardens and the holy springs where you can bathe and experience the waters in the traditional pilgrim's fashion. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as it's quite a hike up the hill. For cultural reasons, wear clothing that covers well. Lovely! This entire convent area is so beautiful with a rose garden and other flowers. Such a relaxing visit. Don't miss seeing where St. Nino is buried in the smaller older church. If you follow the trail at the back you can visit the holy spring, but it's further down than you think!

There’s like a little chapel in the entrance, I prefer it so much more than the bigger church. The visit is quite fast, the nature is amazing and they have a eatable garden in the entrance, so it’s quite interesting see the nuns pickup up the vegetables and working the parcel.
