Mate’s Wine Cellar, Kutaisi

I visited this amazing place on April! I forgot to leave a review at that time and finally im leaving this review now! I really really, highly recommend Mate's wine cellar if u want to try Georgia wines or get to know about them! Me and my friend tried 4kinds of their home made wine including traditional Georgian wine. We also got an very nice explanation about how to make and how to drink wine! Hosts were very welcoming and friendly so I and my friend were so touched!!!!!! And of course their wine was really great!!!!!!!!!!!! Im so thank u for the host again, I wish I can travel Georgia someday and once I go to Georgia again Mate's wine cellar is definitely one of the must re-visit places:)

A must visit if you are interested in Georgian wine! Perfect English speaking hostess took her time to explain all the steps of traditional wine making and the differences and similarities compared to classical wine making. The tasting is great and comes with a nice plater of food. Thank you for having us. We had a great time!
