Dedicated to the works of the French sculptor Auguste Rodin, Musee Rodin is home to the master sculptor's workshop and contains most of his significant creations including "The Thinker," "The Kiss," and "The Gates of Hell." You'll find many of the statues displayed in the lush gardens surrounding the villa. The art on display inside is very diverse, as Rodin was an art collector in addition to being an artist himself. The awesome collection includes 6,600 sculptures, 8,000 drawings, 8,000 old photographs, and 7,000 objets d’art. Paintings you can see from Rodin’s personal collection include works by Vincent van Gogh, Camille Claudel, and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. One of the many museums well worth experiencing. Buy your entrance ticket (and audio ticket, which I highly recommend) online and in advance. Currently it can be used anytime within the year, at your convenience. The audio is well done and provides a great deal of perspective on Rodin's life, relationships, and how his work evolved through the years. Plan to go when the weather is nice so you can enjoy wandering the lovely sculpture gardens and relax for lunch or a drink at the outdoor cafe. There are many benches around to sit and take in your surroundings, to read or rest your feet. GR Codes are a must to enter museums and most other activities and restaurants, be prepared to show it as it will be scanned for entry.

I loved this museum. It had a great mix of history, sculpture and paintings. It also had a great garden. It was a great size too. Some of the museums in Paris, the Louvre, are so big that it feels like there is no story to the displays and very disjointed. This museum is small enough that it has personality and it makes it much more enjoyable.
