Musee d'Art Moderne Et d'Art Contemporain
Musee d'Art Moderne Et d'Art Contemporain was inaugurated in June 1990, and is an example of Neoclassical architecture, with a facade covered in Carrara marble. The collections present an overview of avant-garde artistic creations from the mid-20th century to the present day, and are dedicated to movements such as the New Realists, American Pop Art, and minimalism. The museum's ten galleries spread over 370,000 sq m (4,000,000 sq ft). Ask Inspirock to suggest an itinerary and make planning a trip to Nice fast, fun, and easy.

Fantastic show of female pop artists and an impressive permanent collection. The building is starting to show its age and some neglect, though it's still impressive. Check out the terrace

As an art historian I have to admit that the program bears a very interesting content from each of the exhibitions. However, as a tourist who speaks only English, German and Russian I was very surprised not having enough useful translations for foreigners. I know that France has a special mark to not be considered as very open for any other languages, but here we speak about Museum which is in fact should follow an international rules. Maybe I have to start repeat my French:). Anyway, recommended for visit to all who are in the art world.
