Only consider going up if you're in good shape it's 168 steps up & down remember which you'll feel but it was worth the view as you can get all the way round giving you 360 deg panorama of the town.

This church was rebuilt on the site of the 1209 massacre. If you're in Beziers don't miss going there. I have visited many churches and cathedrals in Europe and the UK but Madeleine is one of the most atmospheric and moving I've experienced. I spent a lot of time there.
