  • We visit El Salvador annually and always take our groups to this mercado for souvenirs and gifts. It's small enough to navigate easily, and the vendors are friendly if a little aggressive in trying.....  more

  • Cute market with gifts from local artists. They sell clothing, hammocks, religious artwork, coffee, and jewelry. Lots of other items too. They have public bathrooms that are very clean but be sure to bring your own toilet paper.
  • Great market, I spent half an hour shopping here. Great selection, reasonable prices, safe. Sadly once I had just about finished my purchases a security guard approached and started making trouble about masks. Had he not been there to irritate customers and prevent them comfortably shopping then I would have given 5 stars. It is utter insanity to employ and pay someone to make the shopping environment worse for customers. If certain mentally sick people have unfounded delusions of invisible deadly viruses that can be stopped with paper-thin masks, they should seek treatment and not impose their nonsense on others. Local government or whoever is in charge of security needs to replace this idiot with someone who helps rather than irritates the people who fund his salary.
