  • We explored the forest by day (unguided) and night (guided). The staff were very flexible and helpful in accommodating the needs of our group for the night walk. The trails are well kept and marked...

  • The most beautiful national park I saw in Costa Rica. It's very pristine and original with countless beautiful plants and animals to see. It is fortunately also hardly visited by people, which I really enjoyed as you were even better able to look for birds and other animals. We started at he Pocosol station, which was a bit tricky to reach due to the road conditions but it was definitely worth it. You will be able to see a very huge waterfall, places of volcanic activity, a beautiful lake and much more.
  • We had a fantastic time at Bosque Eterno de Los Ninos! A great spot for birders: we saw Keel Billed Toucans, Long Tailed Manakins, and Three Wattled Bell Birds among others. The wonderful person at the front desk, Sol, gave us a great explanation of the trails, lookout points, places to look for wildlife, and the history of the conservation of the forest. She was super friendly and made us feel very welcome! The trails felt mostly intermediate/easy, but the Jaguar trail was pretty intense with switchbacks and steep inclines. We worked up a sweat and had an awesome time 🙂
