  • I took 5 teens to visit and none in our party spoke Spanish. We spent about 2 hrs. The butterfly exhibit was very well designed. The views from the top were stunning.

  • Fantastic place to check out!! The museum was absolutely wonderful to walk around. It was inexpensive and you could spend the whole day there. The staff was super friendly and the butterflies were the best part. The art was breathtaking and there were so many different things to look at. They had the history of Costa Rica, lots of art work, and even the original jail cells. Absolutely rich in history and a fun place to spend a few hours. AC was a plus!
  • Very central location. Great museum with a lot of history and images - archeological finds, artifacts from Costa Rica's development. Moves from ancient civilizations to present day, very nicely done. Man at front ticket booth was very kind and definitely easy on the eyes. Good intro to the museum!
