  • This is s place of love. Animals r treasured gifts at Osa. A place where the fauna and the flora r respected. I keep going back because the work there is difficult but very rewarding. I see Sanctarios all over NA. And I am an animal professional handler, clinician and Wildlife Rehabilitator. I am taken back by the dedication of the staff. They work for one thing - animal welfare.
  • Some animals are in cages because they will be killed and eaten if fully released into the wild. The animals are well cared for and loved. Many are too injured to survive in the wild. Every attempt is made to release them into the wild when appropriate. Some animals come to this place on their own and never leave because it is where they feel safe.
