I hidden gem, a little off the beaten track, and at only $6 a real find. There is a 20 minute walk, down rickety steps and paths, to an oasis waterfall grotto which is absolutely stunning. The water is clear fast and beautifully chilled and the pool is sandy underfoot. This has become my new happy place, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Really lovely walk down to a waterfall. Some steep stairs but only a 15-20 min walk down. Great for bird watching and only $6 to enter. The people who run this are from the same families that started the preservation of Monteverde and the money goes towards continuing that work.
