Wave Expeditions, La Fortuna de San Carlos

We did the half day class 2/3 expedition. The guides were fantastic! Very attentive and friendly. They got us down the river safely and made sure we had the best time. Cold beer on the bus after on our way to lunch at This local family owned farm. The food was delicious and fresh and after they showed us how they press the sugar cane. The coffee, which they grow and roast on the farm, was the best I had in Costa Rica! Overall, it was an amazing experience! Would definitely use this rafting company again.

We had such a great experience with wave rafting, in my opinion the best expedition in Costa Rica. First and foremost the rapids are super fun. But more importantly, the guides were amazing. We were lucky enough to get Marco, who is definitely a little crazy. But he was amazing, constantly making us laugh throughout. Of course he was very safe also. We finished the rafting with a lovely lunch at a local farm, where they also showed us how they farm sugar canes. Overall an amazing experience.
