  • This was a highlight of our trip. The hike feels adventurous and exciting and the waterfall itself is uniquely beautiful, truly one of a kind. Our guide Jeremy was amazing-- super kind, charming...

  • This was one of the most magical hikes I have done in my month long travels all over the NW part of Costa Rica. I hired a private guide, Jeremy, whom was absolutely amazing. He taught me about the different trees along the hike, the plants, animals, snakes, butterflies. I also had my 1.5kg Chihuahua with me and he helped both me and him get to the end waterfall safely (and tried to keep my dog as dry as possible). The hike is relatively easy, you do have to swim through different parts of the water, (and I did almost lose my bikini bottoms because of the current), but I always felt safe and taken care of. I would highly recommend hiring a private guide so you can really experience the landscape and stop to take pictures. Jeremy took some amazing pictures of me and my dog, and I am very happy that I ended the last part of my trip with this hike. Thanks again Jeremy! -Melissa and Butters (Ponchito) :)
  • What an amazing experience. Guide takes down a steep hike to the waterfall, wading across the river, swimming through the very cold turquoise water ending up using guide ropes against the current for the final section. We used the provided life jackets although lots of people we saw did not - makes the trek down quite hot but easier for the water sections. Definite recommend
