Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park, El Castillo

Awesome way to spend a few hours. We didn’t get a guide as our group was working about the pace but we should have as what we over heard from other groups was all very interesting and the guides know where to look for things you’re going to want to see. The bridges are safe but exhilarating, the waterfall is nice but no access to the water so pack a bottle. Remember closed toed shoes or you’ll have to sign a waiver! Staff is very friendly and are positioned throughout to help you out if needed. Parking lot is safe and secure. Can easily recommend to anyone who can walk / hike a few km or miles.

Beautiful nature reserve well worth a visit. We did a night tour as well as walking around in the day and it was incredible. We saw snakes, lots of rare and exciting frogs, sleeping birds and monkeys and creepy crawlers! Our guide was so enthusiastic and clearly loved his job. Definitely recommend. Although recommend walking in the day too so you can fully explore as you only do 2 of the bridges on the night tour
