My tour guide Norman Ortega is the best in the world. He made the difference, the trip was exciting and we had a great time. I will definitely book the trip again. As long as Norman is pur guide.

Nice hiking WITHOUT a guide up the volcano Miravelles (7km - 1400hm). We startet at a small house at the road outside of Guayabo. The start of the trail is through farmland and the farmer wants some money for it. We paid 4$ each (4P), but be careful because he started with 10$ per Person. Then the trail is well marked and you walk through zhe forest all the way to the top. At the beginning of the forest there ar many small plants over the trail however it is still easy to find. Later close to the top it gets more steep so you need you hands to get up (not difficult or dangerous). The flora changing a lot through the tour which is really nice. At the Top it was sad that it was so cloudy so we could not see very much. Althoug there are many trees on the top so you don't have a really good viewing point with 360°. All in all the walk there is quite nice and we enjoyed it (with breaks around 6/7 hours). Maybe the dog of the farmer will follow you all the way to the top :)
