The small hole in the ground, located at the southern end of San Andres Island, shoots up incredibly strong jets of water when waves crash into the shore. Due to a series of underground coral formations, the water and air become so pressurized that they are forced straight up, creating the fountain-like phenomenon. Didn't even blow when we went, and there's not much to do around the area other than buy from the shanty marketplace around it. Gets really crowded with people waiting for the hole to blow. I say...

Just pressure air coming out from a hole due to waves pressure under the rocks, but be careful the people is mean. The place is public there is no obligation to drink anything, but people in there stab one of our wheels to force us to stay there and buy stuff they said the wheel just blew up by itself but that was a big lie, a native told us that they had used to do that even taking the fuel out from the vehicles to force people stay and consume, so be careful they are all the same kind very mean

Many souvenir shops, good food and beverages. They geyser is free to see. Recommend going when there is strong tidal changes or big waves occurring
