Create an itinerary including Aquanautas
Take a walk along the ocean floor with Aquanautas, a great option for travelers who might not know how to swim. You'll start your experience by listening to safety precautions and an explanation of how the equipment works. The company will then take you to the dive spot, where you can walk around on the ocean floor without ever having to hold your breath. See fish and underwater statues up close. The company does not allow you to take your own photos, but you can take underwater cameras to have photos taken of you by the guides. PutAquanautas into our San Andres Island sightseeing planning site and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • The experience was fun but we were told it would be approximately 25 minutes under water when in fact we didn’t even reach 15 minutes due to the instructors arriving late from lunch and having another group starting after us. When we complained about the little time under, the diving instructor denied any wrongdoing and basically lied about the time under. Quite disappointing.
  • Fun activity for an hour or so from beginning to end About 15 minutes under the water for an easy and fun experience. Staff is very nice and it was super fun to be surrounded by tropical fish.
