The Dog Shop Bathhouse & Boutique, Mahone Bay

Was really hoping to see what this place was all about. Have been living in Mahone bay for a couple years now. Tried calling id say five times during open hours, and ended up going in store. Got there and there was a younger girl standing at the front desk. Was already a bit furious but still kind and respectful to the employees, asked about grooming and a price for a border collie. The only thing I got for a reply was that they’re not taking any new clients. Was not told when they would be or why they aren’t. That was at the start of summer. Today is October 7 just tried calling twice just to find out if they are taking in any new clients. Did not answer the phone..

Jake had the most enjoyable puppy spa day here which will be his first of many. The staff are first class and the products and offerings are well priced. Highly recommend this facility if you are even visiting and want to take home some treats.
