Salty Rose's and the Periwinkle Café, Ingonish

We loved it here! Saving grace after a 50 mile bike ride over North Mountain. Veggie sandwich was loaded with hummus which is both unusual and appreciated. The coffee was delicious, the staff was super friendly and the owners mom helped us find a place to stay! You should definitely stop in, one of our favorite places on the Cabot Trail.

Such a cute little cafe and craft spot in the Ingonish area so close to the national park along the Cabot trail. We got their drip coffee, cheddar scone and another egg bacon muffin kinda thing. We liked the scone a lot. But the real attraction is how cute the coffee shop is. The staff is really friendly too. They have petting animals across but we didn't spend time there. We got our food and coffee and we were off to hiking after fueling up. They have a large parking lot too which is great but you do see quite a few cars first thing in the morning.
