Appreciate the unique highland plateau habitats by taking a quiet walk on Bog Trail. This self-guiding 0.5 km (0.3 mile) loop is signposted and wheelchair accessible. It will keep your feet dry as you look around for pitcher plants and orchids. Wildlife in the area, including dragonflies and gigantic moose, can be easily spotted from the trail. A good stop for looking at a bog, easy to access. Stay on the path. Might be prettier in the fall, but easily take an hour to appreciate fully.

The bog is well worth a short stop after you've done the Skyline trail. The purple pitcher plants were blooming, and we also saw sundews and bladderworts. Short, easy boardwalk with useful signage.
