Blue Shark Charters, Eastern Passage

We had such an excellent day tagging. Started early with a complimentary coffee aboard their boat. Captain Cale and First Mate Justin were very professional and super helpful. You can tell they are shark experts and were so informative. We had such a fun time. Some highlights were seeing whales, fresh baked cookies, touching a shark for the first time and encountering a sunfish. I highly recommend this experience.

Just spent 3 days on the boat with Captain Cale and First Mate Justin. These two are absolute legends! They really put a ton of effort into giving you an awesome experience from the moment you are on the boat. They had us catching and working up tons of blue sharks and catching live bait as well. I have been on lots of charter boats, fishing boats, and research cruises and these two were a really nice change of pace from the grumpy fisherman! We did this as part of a class for our university students and they were great instructors and coaches for the students, but I'd also highly recommend them for recreational charter trips. They really know the fishing grounds and are great at explaining their process. As a bonus we saw tons of other wildlife to entertain everyone (whales, sunfish, even some bluefin tuna). Can't recommend highly enough...get out there!
