A beautiful beach. The water is very looks more like a river. The sand is mixture of black and normal sea sand. It’s a lovely beach for water sports.

In the Hotel I have stayed Porto Real Resort, the beach was too short and not very flat, I liked the facilities of the resort but I would rather go to a larger beach. He beach at Mangaratiba was calm.... more

A great and peaceful beach! It's a great weekend option with several houses for rent, don't forget your repellent as it's close to a forested area. For those going there for just 1 day, arrive early as parking spaces are limited. It is a perfect place if you are looking for peace, very quiet and it has a source of drinking water (when I went it was drinking water) next to the train line.
