  • It was a nice place to visit and take photos. It is a party scene which is not our cup of tea.
  • The Split is THE spot to hang out and party like it’s spring break all summer long. It can be a lot of fun and it's worth checking out at least once when you're on Caye Caulker. I'm not saying you shouldn't go there, but keep in mind, the food and drinks are priced a lot higher here than most of the island. My fiancé and I got a drink here, but we ate at other restaurants nearby for half the cost. There also weren't many people here when we were visiting. Maybe with more people it would be more fun. We ended up liking the bar next door a lot more because it's a similar vibe but fairly priced and locally owned. Regardless of food and beverage, The Split has its perks – music, a high platform to jump off of, and tables in the water. Great spot to people watch, and you’ll see a lot of boats pass through.
