Barristers Block Wines, Woodside

Beautiful scenery and great for wine tours and weddings. I had the opportunity to visit Barristers Block twice. Once for a wedding and the other was for a birthday wine tour. The only thing that may put people off, are the wasps. There's nothing you can do about them, they are just there flying around. They won't hurt you, they just want the sweetness of the food. That's the only thing that I didn't like, but I am a scaredy cat when it comes to insects and creepy crawlies. All in all its a lovely place.

We’ve been to this venue a number of times for friends’ events and unfortunately have been disappointed each time by the terrible service and below average food. As it provides a great space for kids, we thought we’d try it one last time during the weekend for lunch, however this visit confirmed that we unfortunately won’t be returning. The food wasn’t great, especially in comparison to similar places in the hills that charge the same price and deliver fantastic food, and the staff were rude. We felt like our presence was an inconvenience for them. Hopefully the staff (including the owner) develop more respect and appreciation for their customers in the future.
