  • What an exceptional museum! I spent about 4 hours roaming around looking at all the exhibits, along with the building itself which tells its own stories! I am very distantly related to Matthew...

  • Really interesting place for the adults. Not as much for the kids, there were lots of static displays rather than anything interactive and hands-on. The kids did enjoy the ship they could walk on, but on the whole it's probably better for adults than young children.
  • This is a fantastic arrangement of maritime history right in the harbour area of Port Adelaide. Lots of early pioneer history and stories dome on display some in audible and graphic interactive arrangements from being inside the bowel of a historical ship to the collection of surfboards and fishing rods used throughout time here. We could visit again there was so much to see.
