Port Community Arts Centre, Port Adelaide

The Port Community Arts Centre is a community-based arts group, located in the heart of Port Adelaide, and has been serving the artistic community of Port Adelaide Enfield for over twenty years.

Our main activities are running art classes, in our workshop venue, and conducting exhibitions in the lovely Black Diamond Gallery

Our Evolution

Since its inception, just over twenty-five years ago, the Port Community Arts Centre has evolved into an efficient and effective, incorporated organization administered by an elected board and owned, and supported by its paying members. It exists to provide activities designed to foster learning in, and the exhibition of art. This is achieved via the ongoing conduct of art classes, exhibitions and occasional workshops and other activities.

Our Broad Aims

- To provide a focal point for artists within (and outside) the Port Adelaide Enfield area

- To provide meaningful learning opportunities for existing and emerging artists

- To provide an appealing venue to enable artists to successfully showcase their work

What do we do ?

Our main activities are conducting art classes for established and emerging artists; to host members and non members exhibitions in our Black Diamond Gallery. The exhibitions are held in the Black Diamond Gallery and the workshops and classes are in the workshop behind the gallery.



Our Board

The board comprises up to twelve elected members and they carry out the administrative and other duties required to effectively and efficiently run the centre.
