Established over 30 years ago by John and Jenny Graham, the Leathersmith and Bush Gallery is one of the longest trading and most iconic businesses on the Hahndorf Main Street. The family business is now managed by John and Jenny's son Sebastian, who is joined by Sam the leathersmith from Murray Bridge. The shop is unique in atmosphere, with hospitality that would be welcomed in the building’s origins as a simple pub. The warming fire, welcoming glass of port and a friendly smile make visitors feel at home and relaxed. This and The German Village shop are my two favourite stores in Hahndorf. Didn’t purchase anything but was impressed with the leather products they had, from belts, hats, jackets and other leather accessories. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with questions.

One of the best shops at Hahndorf and one of the best of this type in SA. Great range of leather and great quality products such as belts, hats, handbag... Excellent staff, very knowledgable and very friendly. I bought a hat there. Plenty of gift ideas and reasonable price so this is a shop to keep in mind for example at christmas. Plenty of car park around side streets.
