In South Australia’s Barossa Valley, the Kalleske family have been farming and growing grapes since 1853 on their family estate at Greenock. After six generations of growing grapes, winemaker and seventh generation family member, Troy Kalleske, together with his brother Tony, established the Kalleske winery and made the first ‘Kalleske’ wine. The vineyard is low yielding with grapes grown organically and biodynamically and the winery is also certified biodynamic/organic. Wines from Kalleske have been seven generations in the making, but they are certainly worth the wait!

  • Highly recommend the Kalleske Vineyard Winery Experience, great way to spend a few hours. Followed up with a platter and glass sitting in beautiful garden.

  • Best wine tasting experience we had in the Barossa, very reasonable for 10 dollars and actual tasting pours unlike at other vineyards that barely gave you a sip which didn't allow you to have...

  • What an amazing experience. We visited this beautiful family and organic winery on Sunday afternoon and opted for a wine and food pairing combined with a regional food platter. It was absolutely fantastic. The wines were exceptional and the food pairing was so on point: full of flavours, aromas, colours and textures. I really enjoyed this wine tasting and our host (daughter of the owner) was very knowledgeable, interesting, charming and attentive. She noticed I was a bit cold and she offered immediately to put the heater for me (which was a nice attention). I was so happy we visited this place and we learned about their wines and their history. Everything was just perfect and the wines were really impressive, we ended up buying a few bottles and we will be coming back for more for sure. The experience was a highlight, and I would highly recommend trying the wine and food experience.
