Cleland Wildlife Park
A large national park just 20 minutes from the city center, Cleland Wildlife Park offers visitors a chance to get up-close and personal with Australia's native fauna. You can feed most animals at this site, or wander at you leisure among kangaroos, wallabies, emus, and waterfowl. There are several displays of dingoes, reptiles, wombats, and koalas, as well as large aviaries housing a variety of native birds. The park is home to a few endangered species, such the bush stone-curlew and bush-tailed bettong. Be sure to advantage of the rare opportunity to be photographed holding a koala, under supervision from the park's wildlife officers. Park facilities include a souvenir shop, cafe, and toilets. Way overpriced. I feel like any tickets to animal encounters should include entry to the park. Drove over an hour there after buying tickets to hold a lizard only to be told I need to fork out even...

Good experience to see Australian native animals. You can go very close to them an feed them. There is also a option to get close up photos with a Koala, while petting one. It may be the reason for it high ticket price, given the number of variety of animals. You can meet a lots of Australian native animals if it is your first time in Australia, but will not be very different, if you have been other similar wildlife park in Australia. Overall the experience is good.

From the moment you walk in, staff are friendly and that continues the entire way around the park. Animals are easy to be seen! Only thing I would suggest, maybe a toilet block down near the two petting areas? It's bit of struggle to run back of with a toddler who's "busting" after you've been walking around a couple hours. (This didn't warrant the review having any less than 5 stars)
