Walk from the Adelaide city center to discover the urban oasis that is the Adelaide Botanic Garden. Once here, visit the Palm House, a Victorian glasshouse containing Malagasy arid plant life. Enter the fragrant National Rose Trial Garden to see the different rose varieties that can grow in the local climate. Stand in the curvilinear-glass Bicentennial Conservatory and observe a delicate ecosystem including noisy pittas birds, spiders, and centipedes. Make sure you also stop by First Creek Wetland, a relatively recent addition, where you can learn about the importance of wetlands to urban environments. • Large excellent botanic garden including the rose garden when in full bloom. The park also has a zoo, and is great for walking.

  • Fantastic experience . Close to nature and one can witness the greatest flora of all times . So beautifully maintained and neat and clean. You can have a glimpse of many tropical birds. This has cafes and botanical centres dedicated to certain plants species
  • Great place to spend the day with your family having a picnic or just wondering around. Beautiful gardens beautiful grass spaces very chill in the middle of the city. Lots of filtered water and bathrooms around. One cafĂ© with live music on Saturday. Easy ticket parking around, no free parking except on holidays.
