Piedra Movediza
See one of Tandil's most iconic tourist attractions brought back to life at Piedra Movediza. On this site once stood a famous 300-ton rock, peculiarly balanced on the edge of the hill. A century ago, scores of visitors would come to Tandil to see it. Unfortunately, the rock--which used to swing slightly back and forth--finally fell and broke in 1912. Today, you can view a very realistic replica, poised on the exact spot where the original once stood. Bring your camera, as you'll also have an excellent vantage point over Tandil. Using our international travel planner, Tandil attractions like Piedra Movediza can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

Climbing up a huge flight of stairs only to see a REPLICA of a teetering boulder? It lacks authenticity if it were for me (though the story behind why there's a replica of it sorta makes sense). Nevertheless, you get to take in Tandil in its entirety. And it does feels satisfactory!

Another remarkable place from Tandil. This one is more prepared and adapted to receive tourist of many kinds.. the path is full of stairs which make it safer for you and for them the base places at the top of the hill is made of wood and the distance between tables might be a little challenging for your dog however is not impossible to walk through it (Filippa my pet got an small bruise there) it does not take out the fact that is a nice place for outdoor walking Highly recommended @dog_of_baires
