Create an itinerary including Capilla de San Eduardo
A small church with big views, Capilla de San Eduardo boasts markedly English architecture and reminds visitors of the role European powers once played in this part of the world. Designed by architect Alejandro Bustillo and erected in 1938, the church features a simple rectangular floor plan topped with a gable roof and a small bell tower. Made of stone and wood, the building contains a frieze depicting episodes from the life of St. Edward the Confessor, the last Anglo-Saxon king of England. The church occupies a scenic spot on high ground and rewards visitors with sweeping views of the surrounding mountain peaks. • Pretty wooden church near Llao Llao Resort in the Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi. Similiar to the wooden churches of Norway. Constructed without nails. Worth a visit.

  • A nice little chapel made out of wood. It was build in 1938 and was since maintained in its old Gothic style. A great place to share a Mate with your friends and enjoy the panorama.
  • A small church built on a mountain surrounded by beautiful nature. And, that it basically. It was closed at the time of our visit.
