An intact Ottoman tower house, Zekate House is an example of a combination of Turkish and Albanian design sensibilities. You must request access to the house at the tourist office in the center of town, and be sure to ask for information on the attraction in English. A neighbor next door to the attraction keeps the key and lets you into the space. On the ground floor is a kitchen and a cistern. Take the central staircase to the family rooms and the third-floor reception room. The latter is covered in frescoes from ceiling to floor and lined with sofas in traditional Balkan style. it is difficult to find as the indications are quite scarce .. But when you arrive it is worth it it is beautiful outside but above all it is also beautiful inside well maintained rooms on 3 floors.

Perhaps the best historical house to visit in Gjirocaster, certainly the most impressive from an architectural standpoint. 250Lek to visit the home of an Ottoman senior politician from the nineteenth century. In great condition with rooms restored. A steep but easy walk up from the bazaar.

old Othman house well maintained go back to 1810 with 2 living rooms at top floor for old house owners, 2 living rooms at 2nd floor for old servants. I recommend visiting
