Cayo De Agua, Los Roques National Park

#1 of 58 in Nature in Venezuela
Must see · Island · Beach
Swim in the clear, warm waters at Cayo De Agua. The remote island boasts white sand beaches with clean blue waters, and a long sandbar that stretches far out into the ocean. Do exercise caution on the sandbar, however, since the tide can come in quickly and make it difficult to return to shore. Free from bars and hawkers, the area provides a nice break from overly popular tourist locations. The downside: no public restrooms.
