  • If coming to the IOW then you must visit here. There are plenty of things to do all day such as the chair lift, steps down to the beach, boat rides around The Needles, cafes, shops, crazy golf and...  more »
  • A lovely sunny day - well organised covid secure boat. Very enjoyable but all over in 20 mins. Struggled to find an alternative - strange on an island famed for sailing  more »
  • Absolutely fantastic Value for money. The vouchers scheme is very good value. Myself , partner and youngest son (who is 15) enjoyed the park itself the chairlift and boat ride (extra £6 each) the fireworks at the evening were brilliant although they actually are now not in operation during the off season we were fortunate enough to go for the last high season late opening showing the gift shops are reasonably priced and have lots of needles and also Isle of Wight gift ideas young or small. The Sand shop was a big highlight and again great value paid for using our left over tokens. Brilliant day out. Make sure you read the tokens you get given when you park. (£5. All day) bargain price. Lovely place lovely people and very helpful. Also be sure to visit the glass Making tour too. Brilliant.
  • You can't visit the Isle of Wight without seeing the Needles. You will need to pay £5 for parking unless you use the bus and the attractions park is on the expensive side. But the Needles are beautiful and are best viewed using the boat trips. The chairlift is also a great introduction to the cliffs of Alum Bay and the Needles. On site there is also the chance to create the iconic bottles of coloured sand and there are workshops making some beautiful glass pieces and fantastic confectionery. If you have the opportunity to visit on a Thursday in August, you will also be treated to some great entertainment which for us included fire breathing and hula hooping with fire, however for me the crowning glory was the fireworks and pyrotechnics display, in my opinion, the best family display I have had the chance to see. A must see.
