Experience one of England’s oldest natural wonders, three chalk stacks rising out of the ocean, known as The Needles. Located off the coast of the Isle of Wight, the formations are within sight of a turn-of-the-century lighthouse, and can be enjoyed from the nearby Needles Pleasure Park. Situated overlooking the famous landmark, the park offers an assortment of shops and a small amusement park. Catch a ride on the chairlift down to Alum Bay for dramatic sunset views of the coastline. Take a scenic boat trip from the bay for a closer look at the formations and the cliffside landscape. Put The Needles on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Totland trip planning tool.
