  • It's free to get in; it would have been nicer if we could have got on more of the buses but it was explained to us that there is ongoing maintenance being carried out inside some of the buses and that's why they were closed off. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. If you are a bus enthusiast or have little kids then this is the place for you.
  • Spent a hugely enjoyable couple of hours at the museum in July. Run by lovely and enthusiastic people/volunteers. You can sit in some of the buses/coaches and enjoy a cuppa/refreshments in one that's been adapted. It's all indoors. Not big, but just a lovely reminder of how coach/bus travel used to be. Was once a bus driver many years ago, so it brought back nostalgic memories of why I became one for a while. It's free, but a small donation will help keep a great museum going. Hope to return on a future visit to the Isle of Wight.
