A World Heritage Site, Rwenzori National Park offers a diverse natural system of lakes, glaciers, and waterfalls, among other points of interest. Africa's third-largest peak dominates the landscape, which includes several different vegetation zones, such as bamboo forest and moss-covered rocks. Take a hike around the lakes, or tackle the mountain peaks. Alternatively, visit nearby villages, where you can mingle with locals and soak in their culture.
