It’s difficult not to run into one of the 3 species of monkeys native to the forest on your 30 minute walk to Griffin Falls. You will also see rich populations of birds and butterflies and giant, ancient trees.
The cultural tour takes you through all facets of human life around the forest. Find out about the history of Mabira forest and how it is used to benefit the local community while maintaining its pristine state. Finish with a beautiful view at a hilltop school.
Our birding experts can take you on a full or half day of forest walking to see many of the 315 birds that Mabira Forest has to offer. You may encounter the Blue Turaco or the Black and White Casqued Hornbill or the playful Guinea Foul.

Wonderful experience & the guides are pretty friendly! I’d super recommend but if you’re Ugandan don’t forget your ID so they can identify you as one & you don’t have to pay the foreigner fee. more »
Daring. Great place for a challenge. If you want to feel like a bird, it's the place to be. BUT, it is only great for Zip lining.
Found in the middle of a thick rain forest (mabira forest). The best place for zip lining. Five ziplines so high in the canopy..... So interesting and audacious
